Buunni Coffee, founded by Sarina Prabasi and Elias Gurmu, is on a mission to bring the richness and communal spirit of Ethiopian coffee culture to New York City. By offering single-origin Ethiopian coffee and creating welcoming spaces, they encourage people to slow down, connect with others, and savor the unique flavors and traditions of Ethiopian coffee. With the creation of The Roasting Room, Cafe Buunni aims to support other small and medium coffee companies while positively impacting the neighborhoods they serve.
