Visiting the Ramirez Estate in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic

We were introduced to coffees from this farm a little over three years ago, and they quickly became a big hit with our Buunni Coffee customers in Washington Heights in New York City.
The trip was a reminder of the planning, dedication and sheer physical labor that goes into growing coffee, and particularly specialty coffee.
On a personal note, it was a privilege to be in that beautiful landscape and reconnect with nature — to swim in a river, and lie under the night stars.
